Anyone else having problems when overclocking w/ Crucial PC2100 ?

I do not understand this... I can't even run the ram 8-8-8-2-2-2-2 @ 133 MHz. with out getting crashes.... I have tried upping the DDR voltage on my Epox 8K7A, but sooner or later my system would only crash. Any suggestions? This Crucial is holding me back🙁

1x256mb, or 2x256mb?

Maybe u're just unlucky with the sticks you bought. THey're Cas2.5....due to their fabrication process....they can only GUARANTEE CL2.5. Obviously there are sticks that are better, and some are barely 2.5. U probably just got the bad ones.

I could run 1x256 pretty much at any settings up to 8882222, and 145mhz. BUt once I have 2x256, I either had reduce FSB, or upping the settings. I'm on AUTO right now....but that's just because I don't want my system EVER to crash using Win2k. 😀

Unlikely to be the Crucial. Nearly every stick I've seen does 150 2-2-2 without a hitch, many will do 160 with slightly slower timing.

Well get this... My system isn't even 100% stable at DEFAULT specifications and at DEFAULT voltage to the DDR. I have to add +.2 V to make it stable... I am going to give Crucial a call. I do not see what component would limit my Crucial from doing it's default specifications.... 133 MHz. / cl2.5 / default voltage... Anyways, thanks for the replies.
