Anyone else have this problem with Diablo2?

When playing the game the screen will lock up and it seems like the computer has crashed but everything resumes normally in 10-20seconds...

Here is what I got (Diablo v1.01)

PIII 450@528
128M RAM
CL TNT2 Ultra (nvidia 5.17, gonna try out 5.22)
SB Live! (liveware 1 for win2k)
win2k

 
okay.. heres what I did to correct a similar problem..

First.. download Nvidia's Det 2 V 5.3
I've been running them for many a hour and it has yet to crash.. even with d3d on 🙂

If that fails.. go to directdraw.. not as nice looking but more stable

yeah that worked! Performance still seems a little choppy though... I find it is better to play the game in long stints because I find it becomes faster the more you play it... probably my imagination though.
