Anyone else have low blood sugar rages?

My blood sugar often dips below a certain point, and I become furious at everything, and I cannot concentrate. I'm just blindingly angry about everything. I often tend to break things or punch inanimate objects.
But as soon as I eat something, usually sugary, I feel great, and I cannot even remember why I was angry in the first place.
 
i am also hypoglycemic.

i don't get violent though, just irritable. however, i realize when an attack is coming on so i try especially hard not to let it change my personality.

i also try to prevent attacks by eating regularly.
 
As blackdogdeek said, that's usually hypoglycemic. Getting violent about it is a whole different problem though. A lot of people become irritable.

I used to think I was hypoglycemic, because I would get hungry and to the point where I'd be extremely irritable, shaky, etc. I got tested and they said I was fine.

Change your diet. Don't eat too many simple carbs, and don't overload on complex carbs either. Introduce balance in your diet so that you don't experience insulin swings.

Endeavor to control it by changing your behavior accordingly. I experience the same thing, and try to avoid it by as Descartes said, eating regularly. Also eat a good, appropriate meal before drinking. Nobody likes an angry drunk.
 
I have a tendency for hypoglycemia as well. I get very irratable, shaky, and absolutely terrible headaches. EVen after eating, I sometimes have to wait to get a good night's sleep to get the headache to leave.
 
I get VERY irrate when I am hungry for a long period of time. I snap at people when I speak, otherwise I don't speak at all.

Not a pretty sight :roll:
