So I'm 25 and graduated 3 years ago--and every once in a while I'll have these dreams that I'm taking a final that I need to pass to graduate, but I realize that I hadn't been to that class at all..

Anyone else ever have such dreams?

I have similar dreams where I realize I missed a couple weeks of classes and start freaking out because of all the assignments I didn't turn in.

Oh and spider.
 
Yes. I dropped out of college almost 20 years ago, but occasionally have dreams very similar to yours.

i didnt have dreams like that even when i was in school...

when i was in high school, i'd have dreams where i showed up naked. that's about the extent of my dreams involving school.
 
Yes. I graduated last year, and occasionally have dreams about missing an exam or having to finish a huge assignment for tomorrow. Thank god that's over.
 
Yes though it is usually about needing one class to finish high school. I get this dream semi-regularly even though I graduated college about 5 years ago.
 
When I was in college, I would frequently have a dream in which I would realize I had to take a test for a class I had completely forgotten about. Apparently that is a pretty common dream for college students have, according to the psych class I took.

Since I graduated, I have a variant of that dream in which I am contacted by a professor I used to have. The professor informs me that in order to keep the grade I earned in their class, I need to take another exam to demonstrate that I still know the material.

Both of those dreams freak me out, and it's always a relief when I wake up.
 
God, I hope not. I'm about to graduate, and I sure as hell don't want to come back and relive classes in my sleep. I joined right when spider was the funniest thing on here, and in every other thread. It still makes me smile. 🙂

I had a dream finals. for some reason I had to retake finals for some random freshman courses. Aced the math and science, but the english final was like a highschool english final where it was hundreds of questions about short stories and poems. My first thought was, "how am I going to wing this?" Then i woke up 🙂
 
I still have similar nightmares about exams. like going to an exam after skipping every class and not knowing what the exam was even about!
like you I graduanted about 3 years ago. they always feel awful.
 
I once had a dream that I got in trouble with the law and my sentence was the redo the 3rd grade. I was the biggest kid in class.
 
I used to have dreams all the time where it'd be the final weeks of senior year and all of a sudden, I'd remember that I signed up for some class at the beginning of the year and have totally forgotten to go to it all semester, leaving me short credits to graduate and way too far behind to even hope of passing it.

but realistically, just about all professors will auto-drop you from a course if you don't show up once during the first two weeks without calling or sending them an email.
 
I had a lot of dreams where I totally forgot about a class. Every once in a while I will have a similar dream.

I have similar dreams... the only difference my neighbor gives me a call and I go down stairs to kill a spider for her... after that the dream ends... :|
 
no, but i have recurring dreams where i'm back in HS and i can never remember where my locker is or i can't find the class room i'm supposed to be in or even like what classes are on what days. i graduated HS in 1998...

it's really weird.
 
I'm still in grad school, but have dreams about past courses sometimes, where I'll have forgotten to do homework for English or something (I haven't taken English in 6 years).
