It's weird for me to see a transmission that doesn't have a pair of half-shafts with CV joints coming out of it though. I've only ever worked on transaxle cars (one FWD, two RWD). Must be a lot easier to work on without having the differential in there. U-joints last longer than CV's too.

The differential goes in the back, and the transmission goes in the front

. I've also never owned a vehicle that wasn't a Front engine, rear drive car.

Haven't tried it as a couch.
The carpet isn't stained, it's just tan.
how do you make a coffee table out of a crank shaft?
