Anyone else hate your credit/debit card signature?

At least for me, I feel like I always screw up my signature on the back. The space they give you is so small, and I always get nervous right before I sign it, since I know it will be there forever and people will use it to compare signatures. I can only recall one card that I thought had a genuinely good signature on it.

Yep. Sometimes when bored at work, or in class, I practice my signature for hours. Then when game time comes, I completely botch it.

I mess it up all the time, so I guess it's fairly consistent. It's especially hard on those touch screen pads. How do they expect someone to have the same signature using one of those?

I think I'm just going to start doing it non-cursive.

Rather than have another goofy-looking signature like on my driver's license, I choose not to sign.

I have "SEE ID (no tip if you don't)" so not really. I sign different names anyway because they never check.

You live an exciting life.

Mine says "ask for ID" so that when they look at it, they ask for my ID..which is when I show them my ID and when they see my ID, they process the transaction.

My signature is terrible to begin with. Plus, I've never had anybody actually check the signature.

I don't sign them any more.
When I did, I had a clerk try to compare my signatures. I asked her if she took a handwriting class at Quantico when she worked for the FBI.
She didn't get it.

Who cares what your signature looks like, especially on a credit card. It's a security measure, not artwork.
As long as my signature is mine, and not someone trying credit fraud or theft, I don't care.
