I used to love summer as a kid. No school, it's warm outside, lots of holidays, etc. Now, I'm in Kahleeforneeya's Central Valley where it's too fucking hot, there's too many bugs, too many illegals, (yes, they're another seasonal pest like skeeters) 😉 Usually, around the end of July to mid-August, we get hit by extreme heat for a week or two, (over 105) and my light bill goes through the roof. ($250-$350) I'm just glad this is a VERY dry heat, instead of what most people east of the Rocky Mountains have to endure.

I don't like it much either, but then I spend most of my time inside. Climate control in summer is cheaper though; but then, this building is probably twice my age, and has all the insulating properties of a slab of aluminum.

A little.

Too many wimps around here and they all get much more active when the weather is nice. It seems like I've gotta deal with a lot more assholes on the roads and in the stores than usual.
It only takes one inconsiderate or innattentive asshole on the road to make my day imperfect.

I do not agree.
First off, that milk could have spoiling while in the store.

Second, I love summer because my main goal this summer is sundresses as much as possible and to enjoy the wonderful sensations of a beautiful summer. I appericate the season much more after a horrendous winter.

Dammit Lola, I told you not to mess with our minds like that.

I wish it could stay Fall and Spring forever!

Not really, I do love a good snow. I just can't stand the 20+ days of over 100 degree heat we had last year!

I really hate summer. Most of my work is done from home during the summer so I do not get to enjoy the beach life or these summer holidays everyone speaks of. Compound that with the fact my room will heat up to over 96 degrees on hot days I'm pretty miserable doing my work

The only thing I miss about winter is my ability to walk up to any sink in the house and get an unlimited amount of ice cold water.

Sounds like your hate may be misplaced. I think you should be hating on your refrigerator and not the season. Pull it away from the wall and vacuum out the coil. If you have access to compressed air you can blow it from the opposite direction the air normally flows before you vacuum to get it even cleaner. If it does not start cooling better I think you need to spend the money on a new one.

it's not even really summer yet and it already seems like all my meat and milk has a shortened shelf life.

I had half a carton of milk in the fridge, expiration date of 6/18, and I opened it up today and noticed that there were visible chunks in it :frown:

you need a new Fridge then, nothing to do with it being summer

that being said i dont like summer because it gets too damn hot

It's not the temperature but the humidity that I hate. I'm sure summers will be awesome out West but fortunately I'm in NOVA and let me tell you, fuckin blows!! I think it was 100 for like 3 straight days like weekend.

I really hate summer because my Computer becomes unstable while playing games because my cooling system can't deal with the overclock in summer weather. Its fine in the winter though.

Spring > Fall > Summer > Winter. Though there have been a few years where I enjoyed winter over summer.

My main thing is I hate being too warm. In winter I can always throw on more clothes or a blanket. In the summer there is only so much you can take off before getting arrested.

YES. I HATE SUMMER. And yes, I am shouting.

Every year I vow that I will find a nice summer home in, say, the arctic circle. But alas every summer I get so sick from the heat that by the time I've recovered it's november and all the decent summer places are already taken.

Unfortunately there are two seasons in Chicago.. hot as fuck and cold as fuck.

Come on, Spring and Fall are awesome here and it's not like this year has been that bad.
