it made pirates seem like heroes. as far as i know, thats a misconception. pirates raided, murdered, and plundered ships. they were basically criminals and they shouldnt glorify them. other than that, it seemed okay.

I found it totally implausible. I mean, come on. It's a known fact that Legolas the elf sailed away to the Undying Lands mellenia before pirate days. The Carribean is obviously not one of the Undying Lands. Even if you could somehow rationalize the Valar sending him back Glorfindel-style, I really doubt that being a blacksmith's apprentice would be his god-given mission, and he most certainly would not have gotten mixed up with pirates. Shoddy fanfic at best.

Legolas never sailed to the undying lands you noob. He went on adventures with Gimli after it was all said and done.

Legolas and Gimli went to the undying lands together, according to some accounts, after Araghorn died.

i hate you. good movie, they could of had sparrow be a not so gay pirate, but it would not be as funny.

I thought that was an incredible movie. One of my all time favorites. Johny's character was awesome they way he was half drunk, half gay.... or whatever he was supposed to be....

Ahaha, you'd definately love Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.

They called 'em Grommets.

I loved the movie. Depp rocked playing the role. Yeah, he was a bit effeminate but so what? Funny as sh!t.

I was good looking, had top notch effects and style, yet was totally empty of drama. I kind of enjoyed the spectacle for a while, but it was totally forgettable, and when I see a film like this I can help but wonder what kind of great drama might have been produced with such a cast and budget had they only had a true dramatic premise, other than a Disney ride.

i didnt hate it.. but its not a good movie for me.. ok at best.

but then again many movies get bad reviews from me 😉

however Collateral was absolute best.
