Anyone Else Hate Patching?

I installed a new mobo/cpu tonight, and reformatted my hard drive.

now I'm stuck here waiting for Windows patches to download it's hella boring.

What kind of nerd doesn't have the network install of SP2 on a CD somewhere?

You can integrate them somehow into your install discs. I don't know how though

yeah, I should have brought my computer in to work and installed 2K3 over lan. hehe.

woohoo! done patching (windows, at least... patching WoW will probably take the rest of the night :-/)

now I need to see if I can ghost this hard drive onto my Raptor. the SATA driver disk that came with my motherboard was defective, so I did the install on an IDE disk I had laying around. now that the SATA drivers have been installed and downloaded from the net, I should theoretically be able to ghost from the IDE -> SATA raptor and have it boot up fine (hopefully)
