Anyone Else Hate Patching?

I installed a new mobo/cpu tonight, and reformatted my hard drive.

now I'm stuck here waiting for Windows patches to download 🙁 it's hella boring.

What kind of nerd doesn't have the network install of SP2 on a CD somewhere? 😛

You can integrate them somehow into your install discs. I don't know how though 🙁

yeah, I should have brought my computer in to work and installed 2K3 over lan. hehe.

woohoo! done patching (windows, at least... patching WoW will probably take the rest of the night :-/)

now I need to see if I can ghost this hard drive onto my Raptor. the SATA driver disk that came with my motherboard was defective, so I did the install on an IDE disk I had laying around. now that the SATA drivers have been installed and downloaded from the net, I should theoretically be able to ghost from the IDE -> SATA raptor and have it boot up fine 🙂 (hopefully)
