we just got a park over the backyard. not exactly a great view but at least it's better than somebody else's backyard.

Your view is a helluva lot better than mine. Mine consists of an empty business park and highway 99.

I have a decent view of the bay from here but it's slighly obstructed by the building next to me which would make for a horrible picture :(

OP, is that in Jersey City?

I've got a nice view of the manhattan skyline from my bedroom window, but the blinds are always closed... it's an east-facing window and I like sleeping in until 1 pm every day :p

somebody to the east logged a few years ago, and I now have a peek-a-boo view of Mt. Rainier. Too hot for a pic right now:p

I get to look out two slits for windows and all I see is a bush, and the side of a house.

I guess I have different tastes from people who want to see huge concrete, steel, and glass structures.

very nice. I actually used your creek in winter pic as my wallpaper for quite a while.

:) I should take more photos one of these days... it's such a pain in the neck uploading them on dial-up though.

QFT. While I love to visit hotels with views like that, I couldn't live there. Yours are by far the best views posted, only IMHO of course. I live on Lake Lanier, on 1.5 acres, and I can't see any other houses from my back yard. I have a lot of trees between me and the lake, so my water view isn't that great, but it adds to the privacy so I wouldn't trade it.

[edit]Lake Lanier is a large lake in North Georgia.[/edit]

I wouldn't consider this a "view" per se, but this is looking out from my apartment window:

Not too shabby! That could get really good.... I miss my college years of looking out my bedroom window and seeing the hotties at the pool.
