while i have a few things to protect them from the evil pr0ns and bad things they could be looking for online, its almost more to protect my computers/ network from what they might bring in by going to those sites. i talk about this stuff regularly with all 3 of my kids, especially with them wanting to interact with their friends on dumbass sites like myspace. awareness goes much farther than locking them down, and mentioning it is all logged and emailed to me regularly is fairly effective as well.
Good point. But, I think this is a good reason to just put Ubuntu on their computers...
