anyone else good at written sarcasm but horrible at spoken sarcasm?

urgh...probably school getting to me...


....lately everyone takes me too seriously and when I tell a joke or act sarcastic they never 'get it' and look at me like as if I just insulted their race or something :

wtf?!

..and yet when I write jokes or sarcasm to other people, they nearly fall off their chair with laughter

I temporarily suck at speaking...

The desire to share this burden came to me in a dream that I was having while sleeping in my communications class



....with the international students however, they laugh at my jokes but can't understand my writing

nay, people have to know that you're a very sarcastic person to succeed at spoken sarcasm.

I swear wrote something in class today and everyone loved it, but no one believed that I wrote it


I had the class in stitches dammit Then I said something out loud and everyone went silent


I for one blame the republican party.

It's a fine or errr blurrry line indeed.

Sarcasm is basically insulting but not meaning it. I'm awesome at it, as are otehrs I know.
