Taking the girlfriend as we both liked what we saw from the previews...anyone else going to see it?

I thought it looked good from the previews, but the critics are totally bashing it. I know I shouldn't listen to critics, but at least on this movie, I think its enough to keep me away.

Are you kidding me? It looks horrible, and it was directed by Joel Schumacher (yes, the Batman & Robin guy)

I don't even pay attention to reviews anymore. It seems like movies they say suck, I liked. If anything, I listen to what friends say about the movie before I see it...

no. but i will get it on my blockbuster que when it is out.

there is only like 4 movies this year i want to see in the theatre. 300, transformers,and can't remember the other 2 i wanted to see. sigh

Wow, I was looking forward to this because I like jim carrey in serious roles and virginia madsen in almost anything. But the reviews... oh my. I'll pass!

It's a shame Jim Carrey is in this crap movie. He proved what an awesome actor he was in Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. I think his credentials as a serious actor may be damaged a lot by this movie. OH well!

They could have saved time and money and simply given paying customers cards reading, 'You have a small penis,' or 'Those pants make you look fat.' Surely that's an easier and more cost effective way to insult the audience.
