My brother went and actually was able to see this movie in theatres. Then, he told everyone about it. (He is our resident critic and there's a lot of us that will rent/see a movie based solely on his opinions.) The critics nowadays are idiots. They're forgetting about the most important thing in a movie - entertainment value. Anyway, we all planned on seeing it the next day (my brother again included) and it was pulled from the theatre. The signs advertising it were even still up.
The critics either raved about this movie or said it completely sucked. There were no open minds in the ratings of this movie.
My brother went out and bought the movie on DVD. We watched it right after we saw Matrix Reloded. I liked it better than Matrix Reloded and I even liked the fight scenes better. I loved the way they took an entire new approach with a statistical martial arts with handguns. It's impossible to believe that a handgun fight can look cool until you see the fight at the end of the movie.
I'll definitely be seeing this one a few more times.

Ive heard some great stuff about this movie, and even considered buying the DVD as a blind purchase, but its priced way too high for that at $20. I wish BB had run one of those digital coupon promotions for this movie.
Just watched this (netflix rental) -- highly recommended as a a rental, it's a great B-movie with some excellent fight choreography and some "whoa! cool!" moments.

yea, i went to see that. i thought it was good. lacked a little depth, but kept to the point and kept you interested
