Anyone Else Going to Buy "Equilibrium" When It Comes Out May 13?

Amazon already has the movie available for pre-order.

Am I the only person who enjoyed it? I mean, it's no Matrix, but I still thought it was good/entertaining.

In other DVD news...

Any new gossip as to when the original Star Wars Trilogy will be released? Any news on Schindler's List? How about the Indiana Jones Trilogy?

Blade Runner looked "cheapy" too, but it's an awesome movie.

I probably will even though I never saw the movie. I read some good reviews about it and was already to go watch it here in Houston. Then the weekend I was finally free to go catch it, they pulled it! The Bastages! Now I gotta wait till May to buy it.

For those that saw it, it was good right? my friends watched in Dallas and liked it.

An almost straight to video movie...maybe a rental but not a purchase

I liked it, it didn't pretend to be some pseudo intellectual movie like Matrix tried (and failed) to be. Or at least thats what many Matrix fans would want you to believe.

This happened to me too! I went to Colorado over winter break to see my friend, and we planned to see Equilibrium in Denver while I was there. Equilibrium was in the Denver theaters for like 3 weeks and then suddenly disappeared a couple days after I got to Colorado.

Ah well, I saw the movie soon after anyway.

I saw it, and liked it. So if it's for a reasonable price, yeah I'll probably buy it. Haven't clicked on the Amazon link yet though. I'd say I'd pay less than $20 for it.

I'm buying it, but not @ $22. BB or somebody will have it for less. It was one of the best movies I've seen in awhile. Not a perfect story, but it can make you think if you let it. Great cinematography, and ideas. I'm not sure why the critics panned it, take a look at the IMDB rating.

When this movie came out in last December, Miramax didn't promote the movie. So it was only showed in limited theaters and in really short time

the character development in the movie is quite good. You can see how the main character turns into the rebel(good guy)

gun-kara is also quite entertaining.

I just got done watching this movie and can't believe I never heard of it until a friend recommended it to me. It?s worth watching just for the fight scenes and it doesn't hurt that it has an interesting story too.

Exactly...a great flick. I just watched it myself. I like Bale better than Reeves, to be honest.
