I am not an avid hockey fan, I watch it on occassion. I'm a bit sad that hockey is not being played this season (it is our country's top sport) but i'm not happy it's "over".

if you don't like it, don't watch it. Think of the people who make a living at it. Sure some are being paid way too much. But you also have to remember, a hockey player's life is very short. they don't go past 35 or so.

I blame the players.

ESPN shows more basketball highlights than anything and I'm sick of it. Oh look... great, it's March madness. Hey here's a sport where they score 50 times a game... when do we actually cheer ? Simple game for simple people I guess.

bashing basketball is all I ever do... even if hockey wasn't in the picture. Too bad you haven't been around long enough to know that. I should apologize for the "simple people" comment, but you get how I feel about bouncy ball...
