I'm sad to see it go in a way, but happy for the season change in another. 3 months of any given season is enough for me.

Yeah, I'm ready for the refreshing cool winter days and the near-minimum power bills.

Well yes. Living without AC makes you long for fall. Always been my favoritest season.

I hate the fall. It reeks havoc on my allergies. Summer is bad but fall is worse. I will be a walking snot ball until the snow flies.

I'm still waiting for summer to be over with, heat wise, at least it isn't August anymore.

No more out of control kids!

(and no more Pepper Potts jokes!)

Don't worry. Halloween is almost upon us. Be ready for annoying kids knocking on your door looking for free candy. Why can't they buy their own damn candy?

I'm loving the current temps actually, and wish they stayed like this all the time. Highs around 80, lows just around 70, and the humidity isn't too bad. Haven't needed the a/c for awhile now.

Hmmm someone must have been on a Carnivore cruise. :p

I've heard of many grown men in their 70s pulling everything down and showing Cuba the moon as we pass by. :D

"Mature"? So do they whip out the pianos and string quartets? Or more like drop trousers and go crazy? Hmm, maybe both.

I don't know how well I'd do at the equator. It's nice to have change. In the winter I can bitch about how cold it is and how it's too dark in the morning. In the summer I can complain about how the sun wakes me up at 6 am even on weekends, and how I'm always sweating my balls off.

Well yes actually Hurricane season begins on the first day of (meteorological) summer. Fortunately we have not been affected too much. Igor bears watching though. Could be another Isabel for the east coast. Storms with I have been troublesome.

It's mostly the teeny-bopper crowd that's into the Iron Man scene. I get that all the time. (that I look like Pepper)

I'm definitely not. Fall is extremely short in Maine/NH area. But winter is freakin LOOOOOONG. 6 months of grayness. Woopee!

No!

Soccer, tennis, cookouts, patio dining, growing season, warm rain, etc... all gone until spring. :(
