No, wrong.
The discs are 1.8GB capacity, and are actually SMALLER than a mini DVD or CD.
That plus they are specially encrypted, and reside in a plastic housing for UMD format...
Ive had my psp for about a week now. Pretty good-looking piece of hardware, although I got SCREWED by getting a bad copy of Ridge Racers, the system cant read the disc. Have to wait til monday to talk with Lik Sang (china is shut down for chinese new year

Although I have a DS too which i got on launch day and I love it to death as well
