Anyone else get screwed by their alarm clock this morning?

I set the time on my "new" alarm clock ahead 1 hour. Purchased back in December. The dang thing was smart enough to know when DST begins so it set it ahead 1 hour as well.

Mine is smart enough to change with DST. Unfortunately it's hard programmed for the previous dates. A month or so from now, it's going to go ahead yet another hour.

It's tough remembering a date that has no relevance anymore. I'll never remember to set it back an hour that night.
 
My alarm clock is my mp3 player hooked up to my speakers. It's not smart enough to know when DST begins. So it went off at the right time.
 
Yes. I use my cell phone so I set my alarm to compensate for DST and my phone changed over on its own (never used to do that).
 
sucks for us that work on the weekends. Oh well.

I'm skiing while the rest of you are sitting a cubicle. It feels pretty good then.
 
I didn't do a thing to mine and it went off exactly when it was supposed to, because I knew it went to DST on its own.

I had to be at work by 8 am EST and I actually "have" to get here on time because the overnight crew can't go home until I relieve them and the next person to come in doesn't get here till 11 am.

no problems with my alarm, though... I made sure I moved it forward an hour before going to bed and in any event, I actually woke up before my alarm went off (though I laid in bed staring at the ceiling till the buzzer went off)
 
Forgot to advance my bedroom clock, woke up at what I thought was 9am. Loafed around. Got on the computer and it now says nearly 11am. Wat? Fvck, I wanted breakfast this morning...now everyone has quit serving...

no local places do breakfast all day or anything?

bummer. theres a good place a couple blocks from here that does it on sundays, good grub, too
 
Most of my clocks are smart enough to change automatically. My alarm clock uses the NIST's HF radio broadcast to keep my time accurate. Gotta love technology! Now I have to figure out how to change the car and motorcycle's clocks.
