Anyone else get paid today instead of Friday?

Just notice on my bank statement that my electronic deposit went in this morning. I know today is a holiday, but tomorrow isn't and I normally get paid on Friday. Maybe it's because they process the payment the day before, so they had to do it Wed instead of Thursday.

My official payday is Thursday, but the money is always in my account Wednesday morning. This week the date on the paystub was Wednesday, and the money was in the account Tuesday morning.

I guess that reasoning makes sense.

Today is remembrance day. Not sure how it is in the states but if you live in Canada, the banks are closed so they will process everything Wednesday so that you receive it Thursday 12:00am. Usually the process on Thursday to receive Friday.

I dont get paid on this friday, but yes with USAA my direct deposits show up on Thursday instead of Friday like everyone elses

I got paid today, oddly enough. My company contracts out its payroll. I guess they did it because it is a holiday in some provinces.
