Got my copy today, man its gonna suck up so much of my time. I got some screenies for ya's all-

ah, to test out my lil swimming hole yay

then it got a little stormy looking aww

so i retreated back to a little dock place looks cool

ah, the lighthouse in the night sky so purety

so, i ventured into the lighthouse and got me self a lamp to boot! i look evil, muhahaha Evil i tell ya!

Then i finally got me some cool snazzy looking armor and a new sword Big sword and armor

Then it got nighttime again and i pulled out my halbred Halbred

So I retreated back to my lighthouse venture point 🙂

wow looks nice, but some of those shots are a bit dark.

I really want to pick this game up, but i'm extremly short on cash right now. I refuse to give into piracy though.
 
Picked mine up around noon today and I've been playing all day. I can say goodbye to every shred of my free time over the next few weeks. The game is awesome so far and it is absolutely beautiful. 😀
 
Man! I wish I got this instead of Dungeon Siege 🙁. From what I've read, Morrowind has depth and an open world... DS was pretty much follow the road, click on the monster and watch.
 
i'm running it at 800x600 right now, trying to optimize it, gets a little choppy hear and there for some reason

its suppose to be like 500 hours of possible play. Also it will be outfor XBOX in two weeks as well.

I want this game so much, but it doesn't come out here for another week or two. I've even decided to upgrade my video card for this game :Q.
 
Wow it runs choppy at times at 800x600? You're system is somewhere around mine; faster video card but my cpu is a little faster. I know we always ask for more demanding games, but considering the majority of people who buy this game probably DON'T have a 1ghz+ cpu, GF2/GF3 video card, etc..., seems a little too demanding.

Been really thinking about picking this one up... I think I'll wait till I can find it for $40 or even $30.
 
I bought Morrowind today, finals be damned. 😉 It's cool so far. One thing I don't like is that you seem to have to go through the tutorial each time you make a new character. But the tutorial is very short. And it's kicking my computer's ass. I have the resolution at 640X480 and the horizon slider is close to minimum. Time for more ram and a new video card.

I wasn't joking either. I've just managed to hook myself up with a Gainward Geforce3 Ti500 (Ti550 Powerpack) 😀 😀. Now I don't feel like I'm stuck in the nineties with my GTS, hopefully this should run Morrowind okay.
 
That patch that was suggested above worked wonders. Some tips for those of you getting ready to play now that finals are almost over. 😉

After you get that sheet of paper and enter the next room, steal everything. Make sure to lockpick the box also. After you leave the room, get the ring and make sure you give it back to the guy outside, he'll talk to the trader and you'll get good prices on all the stuff you stole. You should be able to start out with around 300 gold.

If you talk to everyone, someone will mention a cave with some slaves in it. That's where you should go next. Kill all the badguys, but don't free the slaves just yet. If you picked a class that has Speechcraft as a major or minor skill, use it on the slaves. For some reason they are very susceptible to it, making for easy skill raises and leveling up if you're really patient. 😀
