Anyone else get keyboard lag w/ GNexus?

Using Galaxy Nexus, stock everything, sometimes when I am typing notes into Evernote I get a long lag between the time I press the key and when the characters show up in Evernote. It's kind of annoying but once you learn to trust that it will eventually catch up, it's not that big a hindrance to your interaction with Evernote.

I can't remember if I've had the same problem in other apps or if it's just Evernote. usually Evernote is the only app I type a significant amount into.

Hmm, I remember reading something about keyboard lag while in landscape. I think it may have been fixed in either 4.0.1 or 4.0.2, not 100% sure on that. Is your Nexus up to date (4.0.2 AFAIK)?

I do believe you can temporarily "fix" it by disabling spellcheck, but I wouldn't want to do that myself.

There's slight lag I notice in 4.02 that I didn't notice in 4.01. Supposedly 4.03 fixes it again but I don't like custom roms and I don't have the skills to compile stock from source. But it's documented landscape keyboard bug.

Same exact problem for me when in landscape mode. I'm running 4.0.2 on the GSM version. Hopefully 4.0.3 fixes it because it's pretty darn annoying.

Turned off autocorrect in the language and input section of the Android settings. There is another auto-correct toggle setting in the keyboard specific section of the settings -- left that one alone. Now the lag has disappeared and I still have spellcheck/autocorrect.

Sweet -- thanks!
