Anyone else gearing up for winter?

Just bought some new tires for the car. My other ones were fine on dry/wet roads but the snow will be flying soon and I didn't want to risk it. Also picked up some winter wiper blades. The furnace has already ran a few times, so I know that's all good. Next thing is to dig out my flannel sheets, boots and winter coat.

I hate winter more and more every year.

yes. I have not shaved in 2+ weeks.

Snowboard waxed, repaired and edges sharpened.

Snowmobile carb cleaned, oil and filters changed.

Good to go, just waiting on the white stuff.

Going to start dipping into the 60's in the next few weeks. But that's still shorts and t-shirt weather, so no, it's not getting cold yet.

Rainy and blistery today, already felt like it past fall and was starting winter, temps were only mid 50s after being in the 80s not 2 weeks ago. But after a super hot summer with almost no rain, I'm so ready for colder air to take over.

heh...I'm still getting by with t-shirt, shorts, and sandals...and will for about another month...then, I'll probably be forced to put on long pants...then finally, shoes & socks.
