<< When asked if they felt bad for the innocent lives lost they didn't. I can't really remember quite what some of the answers were but you can tell that it truly is part of the culture there (at least to a significant extent). >>

I pretty much knew this after the videos of them partying in the streets celebrating the deaths of 3000+ people.

Don't tell me, let me guess: you're not concerned with the evil this woman wrought - you're only talkin' about if she arouses someone - in death no less. Even as your only awareness of her comes at the expense of her victims.

What is there to compel an attraction?
An arrogance which claimed to know the Will of God?

burnedout,
You really need to get off the computer and get a life.
Really.

The puns in this thread aren't really appropriate.

The current situation in the Middle East is horrible. Both sides won't stop killing each other (and 'sacrificing' themselves) because both cultures are f-d up.

Vendetta and loss of invidualism are awful things, leading to horrors unimaginable.

from sj mercury news.
in life, Idris had been a 28-year old childess divocee and ninth-grade dropout.

why is she wearing a gown then? anyways, childless/divorcee in that culture, you might as well kill youself if your a woman😛

apparently her fat head popped off from the explosion😛 and all she took down with her was that elderly man. her parents should be so proud.

I agree that they are tasteless, but one way of human nature's ability to cope with stressful situations is to "make fun" of them.

live by the sword, die by the sword...

let the violent kill one another.... and if they take us with them, so be it. all the sooner we may sit at the foot of the throne of god

I think the female suicide bomber is interesting in the cultural sense - I imagine she is one of very few female heroes among the benighted Palestinian militants. As for her being attractive, either pre- or post-mortem, you are on your own!

Let me tell you something son. Before going off on me with some self-serving lecture on morality, bear in mind I've probably witnessed more death, destruction and hardship than you ever, ever will five life times. Don't even go there. Don't even start it. I'm as much against the crap over in the Middle East as anyone else. I normally take the side of the Israelis because I deem suicidal killers most cowardly.

I knew it. Some young kid with a puny idea of how the Chicago Manual of Style works in conjunction with the English language would go spouting off a bunch of perceived nonsense about me.

No, after my co-worker said she was attractive, I'd planned on posting this as "Do you find this somewhat famous person attractive"? Let everyone say what they had to say and then drop the bomb on who she really is.

YOU need to get a life.

hmmmm, not really actually she is quite ugly, as far as her politics are concerned, I totally disagree and it is fairly obvious you do to.

burnedout - you getting a little strung out on lifer's juice?

Nah. Those days are but a memory. Except when one believes they hold a Doctor of Philosophy or something to that effect.

I hear ya though. You are right. <thick skin... thick skin> 😉

Well... Don't know about attractive, but female suicide bombers aren't unexpected - there's such a hugh degree of feeling out there that Israel is doing them a grave injustice. More so that the US's 'war on terrorism' (hmmm, don't see any IRA murderers being 'sanctioned') has given them an excuse from heaven for 'carte blanche' for anti-terrorist action, which escalates the situation further.

The moment that anyone criticizes the Israeli administration, they're called 'Anti-Semitic'. Most of us 'Anti-Semitics' are critical of the Israeli administration's handling of events, and the fact that the Israeli politicians and military hide behind the universal sympathy to Jews. Mossad, the Israeli secret service, is one of the most evil organisations on this planet. Anti-Semetism in reality has nothing to do with it. When the administration abuses the sympathy like this, and the Israeli people do nothing, I am truly dismayed. They above all should know how it feels to be treated like dirt. Is it fair to deal it out to others in a proxy retaliation? Sit down at the friggin table and hammer out a solution!!!!

EDIT: Oh yes, this doesn't mean that Palestinian terrorists shouldn't be locked up - anyone who has taken part in terrorist acts should be tried and sentenced. But there has to be an even handed dialog to solve this issue.
