people feel the need to be wanted by having their cell phone ring.
there was an article how people are setting alarms on their phone that sound like ringers so that they seem wanted.

pretty sad.

edit: i have a friend who makes me call him when he's with a certain girl. he thinks it makes him look cool. i think it's retarded and i try to make him laugh when i call him.

That was my point, She dint know i was going to approach her, she was at a picnic table siting down at school. I think she wanted to seem occupied, but if she wasnt pretending i usually find it intimadating

shoes... you can always tell a girl by her shoes. 😉

And maybe she had a PDA phone... I fiddle with mine all the time.

Intimidating... No. Annoying... Yes.

Exactly, How can a girl not be annoying when she talks on her cell while you spend time with her?😕 Her behavior indicates her arrogance and impoliteness/being rude towards you because she doesn't feel that you're important enough to talk to.

wtf? i hate when everyone here keeps on quoting each other, and they believe the person they quoted had the proper identification of my message. its like playing telephone. i never approached her, i dont have class with her, nothing nada, we were in a courtyard with hundreds of people flocking to class. She dint know i was even there. She just simply did it to seem sophisticated. SHEESH

i disagree....girls are very insecure and perhaps looking busy makes them feel comfortable or less vulnerable.

haha, you went up to her and all of a sudden she whipped out her phone and pretended to talk to someone on the phone? she must have recognized you from class or something. good luck with THAT!
