thankfully I'm highly sensative to fluctuations in my blood sugar. Even from my deepest sleep, if I slip much below 50 or 60 I wake up shaky. Awake I can feel it around 75. She did not have such luck.
Nevertheless, it was a pretty strong reminder that I need to take care of myself. I don't think I'll ever forget the pain in her parent's faces.
Have you ever heard of this book? Also this is an excellent website to visit.
never heard of the book, but from past experience, I know that there are various supposed "cures" that get discovered every few years, and a few come coupled with these nutjob theories about why the medical community wants to keep it under wraps.
They're pretty much all scams.
If anybody did come up with something that could revolutionize diabetes care, there would be no keeping it under wraps. Think billion dollar bidding war. Hell, whoever finishes the first artificial pancreas is going to be a stock market investor's wet-dream.
second, based what I know of diabetes, the author's claim that "the diabetic diet" is responsible for diabetes' incurability, is just plain stupid. I may consider it (but not much), if the scammer had limited their claim to type II, but saying it applies to I&II shows a genuine lack of knowledge. Type I & II are acutally very different disorders, with different causes, but the same end result.
There have been lab studies that have shown genuine promise in a variety of treatments. That book looks like a farce.
