I guess at this point I don't have a whole lot of reasoning because Yahoo and MSN won't let it happen too easily, but slowly and surely google is beating them at their own games, especially email.

being the ultra-easy-to-make-and-run-your-own type schema of the internet, id say its too easy for a google competitor to come along, so far all of their success has been innovation or just smart marketing and features that MS and friends shouldve had out there a long time ago.

You're not looking at the big picture though...on here, it seems everybody is using google; It's true here, and here only. Don't forget, when you install Windows, your home page is MSN...Many people ho buy computers, leave that as their home page, and love it. They use the MSN search engine all the time.

Everyone I know who wants to search just goes to google first, especially at school. I think the age group that has been brought up with computers is using google

Could be some truth to this.
I'm 42 and still use Yahoo. Once in a blue Moon I'll use Google.

I think Microsoft should watch out for google because they are emerging. I am not scared of them though, their products are good and free for now and they may actually give MS some competition for once.
