I'm ready for some Orioles baseball, even though I know they'll probably only have 65-70 wins this year. Who else is pumped about their crappy team?
 
A's are going to be just good enough to stay in contention or lose in the first round of playoffs. It could be worse though. I could be a Royals fan.
 
im excited, but my team is the padres so im in the "they'll win the divison but get wiped out early in the playoffs agan" state of mind. actually i have high hopes this year with improved pitching, more dangerous bats, and a new less-conservative manager. but yes, im excited for baseball. ive even watched all the spring training games they've aired and attempted to listen to the ones that havent.
 
I'm semi excited about the up-coming season. Been sorta listening to the radio with the Mariners (local team) and the Cactus league games. I think they've won 5 games now but I cant remember. 🙂

I'm sure I'll watch more than 1 game this season, maybe even go to 1 game... dunno though. 🙂
 
Say whatever you want the Mariners are going undefeated this year!!!!!!!!!! WOOHOO!!!!

Well, maybe they will go winless but opening day will still be fun.

I'm excited. The Orioles are going to be much better than that. They've improved their bullpen and their lineup, both significantly. Loewen and Cabrera are just begging to break out. 65 wins would be a massive, massive failure.
 
not really. but it takes me a few weeks into the season to get excited. though i don't have high hopes for the Cubs this year.

I wouldn't be surprised if we're still 4th in the AL East. The 4th and 5th pitchers in the rotation (Wright and Penn/Trachsel) aren't looking very good at all in spring training, and the hitting (especially power hitting) seems just as bad as, or worse than, last year.
 
I'm concerned about my Mets pitching situation (especially the long-relievers) but I have high hopes for the coming season.
 
I get excited every year. I have since I was 8 years old.. And I have been through some lean times as a Tigers fan. I had been to spring training the past three years. I didn't go this year because I knew it would be a bit crazy.
