Anyone else disappointed with C&C Generals?

The last strat game I played was Caesar III.

I've never played a single C&C game. Ever.

If you like RTS's, you're missing out on what I think is one of the best series out there. Personally, I'd rate the Age of Empires series as the best, Starcraft/Warcraft as #2 and then the RA series in 3rd place (but by no means a bad thing at all).
