I'm no vegan but when I eat meat with bones in it, it reminds me that I'm eating another living thing.

I start to have visions of the animal screaming and hollering when i bite down on the bone.

Does anyone else experiences this?

You need to see a doc about that. Or maybe you are PETA material.

Why in Hell the "Er... what?" face? What post is after all completely straightforward.
It sounds a lot like you're into what's known as "vore porn". It's not unheard of, but not exactly common. People generally find it rather strange.

i eat bones.

i gnaw at the bone until it completely breaks apart and i can then chew it to suck out the marrow.
in other words, i am proud of my genetic heritage.

It's not a matter of being creeped out by it, but Officer Candidate School had enough of an impact on me that I still tend to avoid eating chicken on the bone. The food was mostly fine, but I really, really hated eating bone-in chicken with a knife and fork while not being able to look down at my plate while under a strict time limit and being yelled at.

Yes, I do not like bones in my food. I typically won’t eat ribs for that reason.

I don’t like the idea of corn on the cob, sort of like the bone thing. You need to eat it like a dog.

I don’t like fish that looks like a fish when served either.

The problem I sometimes run into is I will either undercook it or something, I don't know, but I will bite into a piece that will taste super nasty, like some kind of strong "rotten" taste. Does not matter how I cook it, I can just never figure out what causes that, then it tends to turn me off chicken that I cook myself for a while. I don't know what I'm doing wrong to experience that. I actually used to get that same taste in McNuggets now and then, which I can't eat anymore because I had it happen too many times it just turned me off of them. Not that it's a bad thing.

But yeah I just suck at cooking, it's just something I never manged to get good at no matter how I try.

Instapot can’t screw up chicken. If you don’t like the prospect of it being undercooked cook I think in the instapot for around 20 minutes and let it release (sit don’t do anything) for around 20 minutes. When complete fork shred the chicken.

I used to feel bad for even the bait i would put on a hook when i used to do catfishing. I got over that pretty quickly, we had rules with fishing and many a time i caught preggo ones. Always tossed back what wasn't ate. I would be enraged with some fishing spots and the total disregard for the woods and waters some would show.

Circle of life and all.

I wouldn't. Bone probably weighs much as the steak. I don't know about you but I don't pay $10 /lb for beef bone.

 even costco ribeye costs more then that...

I don't mind bones, but anytime I buy a steak that looks like this:

I spent way too much time cutting out all of the fat and keeping just the good red parts. I don't know why they don't just throw these pieces away with all that gristle.

It's cut too thick anyway. Just cube it, marinate it, and pan fry it. Carne asada FTW!
