happens for me in IE, too, and with various other gamedev forum posts which utilize the

 tag.

Already filed an RMO report at mozilla.

I can't recall this happening before with other websites.

figured it out: the fonts they use for code don't look good like other fonts when using an (any, I guess) LCD.

they're using courier and/or courier new, bitstream vera sans mono looks far better.

edit: if you can't change it easily (I can't think of any way I'd accept) to a different font, then I suggest searching c:\windows\fonts for *cou* and removing all the courier fonts that aren't TTF.
