Anyone else clear out the grocery store when stuff is on sale?

I'm on a budget like many of you, but when something is on sale, I buy a ton of it. I drink tea and it comes in a little box for about $3. It recently was on sale for $2 a box and I bought every box on the shelf. Chicken is usually $13 for a 4LB frozen, but when it went on sale for buy one get one free, I bought 4 bags. Anyone else do this? When something is on sale you go overboard and really hoard up on it to save yourself money down the line?

I'm actually thinking about going back to the store right now...got some chicken pretty cheaply yesterday (a lot cheaper than I was expecting), and I don't know how long it'll be on sale 😛

I only buy things on sale. When its on sale I stock up just enough until the next sale.

I still usually make regular trips for fresh food and meat and things though.

Also for example, grapes are 84 cents a pound right now, and I bought 12 pounds worth this week.

I like to eat the Southbeach double chocolate cereal bars instead of candy bars when I have my sweet tooth raging. They recently were on sale for $2 a box instead of $3.19 a box. I bought 20 boxes.

Well yea, you really cant hoard fresh meat or veggies

I might buy a lot if the food will store well. I wouldn't have bought so many grapes because I wouldn't be able to finish them before they go bad.

I just wash em and put them all in tupperware. then i eat some each day 🙂 I bought 6 pounds on sunday and im all out, so I bought 6 more pounds today 🙂

I do this but not with groceries.

Like I bought alot of baseball gloves when they were on clearance and I put them in my mini-storage.

I have tons of stuff I will never use in my mini-storage.

I do stock up on some essential things such as toilet papers or paper towels when they are on sale. But stocking up frozen chicken and grapes isn't such a good idea. Heck, frozen chicken was never a good idea to start with. I usually just buy the stuff that is on sale the current week and adjust my cooking based on what I buy.
Thinking about stocking up, I still regret not buying as many as possible when my local Harris Teeter had Corona 12-pack (in the box) for 8 bucks.
