Interesting that NBC has an ABC reference....

I think it's coming back on the air after the typical winter break and will run uninterrupted till the spring finale, as opposed to running repeats and breaks throughout the year.

correct. it'll be starting back up sometime in early February, and run for 16 episodes. This will then happen again for the 2009 and 2010 seasons, with the Lost series finale (series, not season) in May, 2010.
hmm, that's kind of like a graduation gift.
