Well a very merry unbirthday to you!

I was born 2/29/80

And now, a list of questions I get asked every time someone finds out when I was born:

When do you celebrate? The 28th or Mar. 1st?
~Growing up, my family used to celebrate on the closest weekend. Now that I'm of age, it's an excuse to go out both nights!

Do you only get presents every 4 years?
~Nope, my parents are nice enough to give me stuff every year - this year, a plane ticket to San Diego for spring break!

So how old are you really?
~I'm 5 3/4

When is the next Feb. 29th?
~Next year, 2/29/04

In conclusion, Happy Birthday to all you leap year babies out there!

You're lucky to have 4x the lifespan of everyone else, seeing that you only age once every 4 years.

Logically I'd think you'd celebrate on March 1st. Feb 29th occurs after Feb 28th, so, on no leap years your birthday would be March 1st (the day after 2/28). If you celebrate on the 28th I think you are cheating. Not that I care.

I guess you could argue that on leap years feb 29th occurs before 3/1... and as such on non leap years you were born on the 28th... but... I think that's wrong, because on that year when you were born Feb 28th went by already.

Only 1 out of every 4 centennial years are leap years...ie 2000 was but 2100, 2200 and 2300 will not be..

Well, to settle that debate, according to the DOT, I didn't turn 21 until 3/1/01

Very true...

After my birthday in 1996, I was given false info that 2000 wasn't a leap year. I believed it for almost a year, and then I found evidence suggesting otherwise.

I have a little brother that showed up on 02/29/60.

We always treated his B-day as the last day of Feb.

His kids became happy when they actually had more b-days than their dad:p

Wow, you can't get your drivers license for another 40 years and can't buy beer for 60 years....

Then again when we are all dead and gone you will still be in your 20's....

Actually, I started driving when I was 4, and drinking when I was 4 1/2.
