ive had it....i dont see why people make such a huge deal over it. friends of mine drive 40 minutes on the parkway to go to rutgers just to buy the stuff.

Yeah tell me about it. I've never had this boba stuff, but my friends in college all went nuts over this stuff called mate' (?). I think it was some kind of Mexican tea. The way they talked about it, it was like they were smoking pot or something... I think some people try to hard to have the "college experience" (i.e. driving 40 minutes to drink tea, although you didn't say they were in college), that they forget to actually experience college.

hahaha i get that alot...i picked it up when i went to school at ucsb. everybody calls it boba there. i go home and say boba and let the flames begin.

EVERYBODY here loves boba. i personally dont see whats so special about it. i mean, i like it too, and i think it tastes real good, but i wont go crazy over it. but yea, it does taste a lot better than say soft drinks/sodas/jamba juice or whatnot.

So I went to the Teahouse of Pretty Girls yesterday and ordered their peanut cream blend to try something different.

It was like drinking peanut butter. Never again.

I'd be addicted if we had any good bubble tea joints around here...even the ones on campus in Ann Arbor are pretty lame. I was in Toronto for the weekend with the family though, so we hit up our usual favorites.

mmm.
