anyone else a horrible excerciser?

practically go and do 45min of cardio every three days,no lifting, and overall, pretty lame.

once a week I get this "urge" and do cardio for 30min (15 erg / 15 elliptical), lift for 30min, and then go and run about 3-4 miles with my dog after....😕

Now I am all tired and need to go to work tomorrow. I will be so sore🙁

By the way, 'head over heals' by Tears For Fears is like the best erg-ing song I've experienced in years....

A perfect 24 beats per minute😀...perfect rowing speed😎

Nope.

I do 20 mins of cardio followed by 45 - 60 mins of weights Monday through Friday. I love it and I'm finally starting to see results. The only problem I have is keeping my diet in check so the cardio for the most part is a waste.

1. I DON't keep my diet in check.
2. I wish I was as disciplined as you and everyone else when it comes to this🙁

I don't mind the PT. But working out after a 13 hour night shift is just rough, especially when you have to go back to work in 10.5 hours for another 13 hours shift. If you PT for an hour, that's 9.5 hours left. 🙁

Go on, get going with your porn then...you don't have that much time left🙁

Nah, no need for porn. I just have to hope that I'm not too tired for a work out at home.

What do you mean 'in check'. Just don't eat badly, drink lots of water and you should be good, avoid drinks with lots of calories (over 100). Also BTW, drinking gatorade instead for EVERYTHING isn't good for you either as it's got electrolytes in them and that hurts your teeth.

I predict your thread soon to be invaded by people who will scornfully criticise your exercise.

I do 2-3 days of exercise a week, and make an effort to do active activities on the weeknds. I've been doing that since December and have lost 30 pounds so far. I try to eat healthfully and only go out to lunch on Friday, and have 2-3 days of no alcohol per week. (good for the liver, and cuts back on calories...).
I was getting real discouraged as I maintained the same weight for about 5 weeks, then all of a sudden I was 5 pounds lighter... That plateau sucked... made me wonder what the hell I was doing the work for when there was no gain..

My advice is accept that you're going to be in the weight room a long time... I still can't run a full mile... Only recently have I been able to run a half mile... I Run aabout a quarter then walk, I don't look at the time, just the mileage. 3 miles is 3 miles calorie-wise, whether you walk or run it.
