According to restaurant guides, Benihana is $$ (meaning $20-$30 per person).

And in my opinion, it ranks there with Todai's as about the worst Japanese food there is.

Hell, I have to use a coupon from the Entertainment book (which I highly recommend BTW) and go somewhat cheap to keep from hitting $40 for dinner and drinks for 2.

There is a place in my area called Nijo Castle that cooks food the same way as Benihana's, but they are not a chain. They are sooooo good, and way better than Benihana's (we have about three Benihana's around here too). Pricing there is usually around $25-45 per person depending on what you get. Thought I'd throw that out.

Ours is called Ichiban. Still great.

And yes, it ain't cheap.

also be sure to double check the bill. the tip will probably be included.
I once paid double tip because the bill was long and convoluted and i just wanted to get out of there. so i paid the bill and dropped cash for the tip. i realized later it was already on the bill
