Anyone eat at Baja Fresh?

It's very good for fast food, clean and fresh. I eat there pretty often, but it is kind of expensive. Not the best mexican food I've had, but still very good.

i like them better than chipotle.

just make sure to get your burrito 'enchilada style' --- persnally i prefer this with the Burritio Ultimo.

I might go today.

IMO Chipotle is better, but sometimes I feel like eating something other than a burrito. I'm a big fan of the fajitas and the baja salsa.

EDIT- quality varies a LOT from location to location though. The first one I ate at is still the best, some of the newer locations just can't seem to make the food the same way.

they just opened one up near me in NJ a few months ago, havent gone yet though. ill have to check them out someday

I love Baja Fresh, I eat there for lunch at least twice a week.
I usually get a chicken bare burrito, just because I think its one of the more healthy items on the menu aside from maybe some of the salads, but I'm not much of a salad person.

I really like the Baja Burrito and the Burrito Ultimo too. The tostada is really good as well, the shell is great. Their tacos suck ass though, the shells they use are horrible.

i like baja freash too, but I wanted to say that my local Taco Bell has recently been doing a lot better job, quality-wise.

Yes! enchalada style is the ONLY way to go. If you are there with a friend get a burrito dos manos, it is so big enchalada style that it comes on 2 plates and its big enough to feed 2 hungry people.

i had a burrito dos manos a couple days ago no need for 2 people 🙂

which would you say is more food --- burrito dos mano's, or two burritos from chipotle?

personally i can barely eat 1 chipotle burrito and have never attempted the dos manos...

chipotle > baja. however, ive been eating at baja for about 6-7 years now, and i can say this about them: their serving size has decreased while the price has increased. I remember when the burito ultimo was about 3 inches in diameter and ~8-10 inches long. now it isnt much bigger than a taco hell burrito and its more expensive than it used to be. The food still tastes alright though.thier salsa bar is OK at best. Ive had way better.

EDIT: and enchilada style PWNS

I think their burritos are plenty big in size, I usually don't finish them. Enchilada style is ok, but it makes it extremely unhealthy. Baja Fresh markets themselves as somewhat healthy, and making a burrito enchilada style adds 640 calories and 40g of fat, at least according to their website. The burritos are already fairly high in calories, ranging from 800 to 1000.

2 chipotle would be bigger albeit slightly
