just wondering... who did u take with ur first pick? and in ur league... who was the first player to be taken?

i actually missed the first two rounds of my draft, so the computer auto picked for me based of yahoo! rankings. i had the #2 overall pick. the guy ahead of my picked tim duncan. the computer picked paul pierce for me. DAMMIT! i wanted shaq. would anyone recommend picking pierce ahead of shaq? according the the yahoo! rankings... pierce is actually rated #1 overall. that made me feel a little better.... but i still wanted shaq dammit! quality centers are pretty hard to get, and there is a plentiful supply of small forwards. ah crap!
 
really? hmm... i mean... i know pierce is good, but #1 overall? i was thinking shaq would be first.. then duncan... then mcgrady... then who knows. so is pierce a real fantasy stud, or is this just hype from last years playoffs?

Apparently so.. only the first 4 picks ie players #1-4 were actually there for the live draft.. everyone else just made a ranking list

my league has 7 ppl...small private league
i picked third...

1: kobe (kobe fanboy)
2: paul pierce (definate 1st round, ppl laughed at me for picking him 2nd round last year...but the guy wasn't here...was computer picked)
3: duncan
4: KG
5: mcgrady
and on and on...
i managed to get shaq 2nd round...no one wanted him because of FT and his injury...
got elton brand 3rd round...solid front right there...
and i picked up iverson 4th round...with his FT and FG balanced out by Shaq's FT and FG
 
I missed my draft, got kinda busy at work then totally forgot about it. I got Iverson and Webber, though. In the AT league, if I had pick #9 first round, does that mean I got pick #4 in the 2nd round?

Oh and I got stuck with David Robinson...yeck
 
I overslept when my draft was taking place... I'm in Stark's league... but at least I got Jason Kidd for my 1st pick.

I guess I'll start another league and decide what to do.

Joined in 99 for the hot deals forum mostly... was in college at the time... that was more fun than spending time posting 😛

Now that I've graduated (unemployed) and Im stuck with a snail of a connection ie modem, I have plenty of time to browse

around the forums and maybe catch up on my posts 😛

my centers are cliff robinson and derrick coleman.... awwww yeah..... 😱
 
I'm in both of Stark's AT leagues.

In one of them I got Tmac with #5 overall, KG went #1.

In the other I got KG with #7 overall, Duncan went #1, however I wasn't there for this draft.

just make sure to post the league id and password. I'm sure there are plenty still wanting to get in a league. There might still be spots in boris' jungle league (user: eminem2k).

Here's how my draft went. I picked up Duncan with the 5th pick who I would have picked up even with the first pick so I'm pretty happy.
