Anyone done benchmarks with the ATI linux drivers?

Just curious...I got the hardware 3D support working on my 8500LE last night, but I haven't had time to play with it yet. The only thing I looked at was glxgears, which was tossing out ridiculous numbers.

if you use irc you'll find help on that network
i hear they are alright
but nvidia's linux drivers clean house on them
all of nvidia's drivers are optimized and support the newest cards/features at release

i wish ati had support for their 7500
just hafta turn to dri for that one tho
