Anyone compared Opty 165 and X2 3800+ performance?

I wanted to know if anyone has seen a comparison of how these two match up at the same speed. I know the Opty has more cache but am unsure how much a difference this will make. Thanks

I think there are a few reviews comparing more cache and less cache, but I don't think anyone made one between the Opteron and the X2s like that. But since the Opteron 165 is probably only a few dollars more expensive then the X2 3800+, the 165 would be much better then the X2 3800+ The 165 has more cache obviously, but it also runs at a lower stock vcore, which means more headroom for OCing and lower temps.

if you don't oc the X2 should win out in most applications/games..........it only loses or performs equally with the opteron in application that rely on cache.

Yep, unfortunetely for those quys they don't realize that they can safely OC there Opteron's or A64's and still maintain 100% stability with the propper testing!!!
