this episode IMO has been the best episode this season. Amazing acting by John Glover and Michael Rosenbaum especially the office scene. man that was a twist in the plot.

I thought it was a great episode. It was almost, but not quite, redemption for a somewhat mediocre season.

I was really impressed by tonight's episode. Wow. That explains a lot about the father/son relationship that Lex has with his dad. There wasn't the "usual" bad guy like there is in every episode and this episode just blew me away.

It was amazing. I especially liked the duality between the Lex/Lionel and Clark/Martha scenes at the end. Best episode this season, if not ever.

That's not saying much. Good thing John Glover has a record of his own on which to stand ;)
Good acting? In a WB drama? Ho ho ho!

With Lionel dying, how many people think that perhaps he's going to find a way to transfer his consciousness into Lex's body and that's how Lex turns evil.

The acting was better. O Toole (Clarks mom) was over acting a bit in that scene with Lionel.

I'm still amazed at all of the applications they've created with kryptonite (Kryptonite water, kryptonite NOS, etc...) *** insert sarcasm***

I don't like the fact that they show less and less of Lana. Boooooo, they're writing her out or something

Yes, the relationship between the Luthor and Kent family is interesting.

The Luthor father and son relationship is the best writing and acting Smallville has to offer, they portray it like a Shakespearean tragedy.

It seems Smallville is trying to show Lex and Clark to be to extraordinary young men that due to their parenting, are destined for very different paths; the tragedy is that Lex will have ended up very different had he a loving family like the Kents.

The abundance of kryptonite in Smallville is comical indeed. :D
