Plenty of "DJ" type gigs are like that, but Beardy's performances (usually?) aren't done in that way.

A more palatable intro to Beardyman for the uninitiated might be his TED talk or BBC's Comedy Proms or his Dolby promo.

He makes most of his sounds on the fly, based on samples and loops that he creates on the fly. At least this is what happened at the show last night.

I really don't even know WTF you're complaining about? Are you bitching about the terrible live recording quality? Your speakers won't even play it? WTF? Are you trying to comment on the styling of the "music"?

Yeah my speakers literally wouldn't play it. I'll mess with it today because I'm curious...but I'm guessing it's recorded in super low quality single channel mono and I have a surround setup. Mono should play in the center only...but I got total silence. It was late and I didn't care to mess with it then. Only the lowest quality garbage recordings have I had issue with, my system is like "NOOOOO! Don't disgrace me with that!"

I can slap it around, force some settings, and crank up the center to play the crap mono stuff.

To be honest , i like the beardyman gig from the op, from 4:00 up to 12:00. After that it is that horrible music from today. Which i find weird because in another live show beardyman himself labeled such music as crazy robots having sex and would not make such music.


He used to use korg kaoss 3 pads.
