This is seriously annoying. I mean it's impressive I guess on some level somewhere, but I can't believe people are interested in this.

I find it enjoying, until it's not, which happens within a few minutes of listening to his shtick.

Beardyman already is fairly famous. And I like his recent performances well enough but I still don't think I've watched any better than "Live in the Underbelly".

I have a friend who is obsessed with BeardyMan. I think both (friend and BeardyMan himself) are idiots. Why people pay to see this nonsense is beyond me. But, I think the same about Skrillex.

Granted, I am a huge Gwar fan, so perhaps I am not exactly the best to consult when it comes to "good" music.

Don't know if I'd call him "famous", but Beardyman has been popular in certain circles for a few years now.

Youtube famous?

it's not hard, it's ) beatboxing + 2) looping + 3) comedy. if you don't like 1 and 2, 3 isn't going to save it.

And Motörhead - ace of spades

I'm gonna have to listen some other time, it's recorded in some garbage mono crap or something and wont play out of any real set of speakers. Perhaps that's a sign, maybe this is so bad I just can't physically hear it.

And yet its so much less than that. I can enjoy 1 and 2 if they're done well (I will admit that most instances of them being done is not what I consider well), and...well I'll just say we'll have to agree to disagree on 3. He might be capable of comedy, but its not terribly present here.

I don't doubt this guy has the talent to make some really actually appealing sound, but it seems like he's just aspiring for "Dane Cook: the musical" (or maybe it's more analogous with movies like the shitty spoof movies like the Scary Movie and other garbage).

Better quality I think. To each his own.

After the OP link I was like, eh, this guy just makes me think he should be on stage while they do switchovers between the musical acts, sorta like intermission entertainment, just something a bit different that can be fun in small doses. But then that just... D: It's like taking the most annoying aspects of shit like dubstep, condensing them into concentrated aural diarrhea, slathering on copious amounts of very meh "vocals" and then injecting Fred Durst level "personality" (if you can call it that).

I really don't even know WTF you're complaining about? Are you bitching about the terrible live recording quality? Your speakers won't even play it? WTF? Are you trying to comment on the styling of the "music"?

I can only say: it was funny as shit last night and the crowd loved it.

4 iPads and 2 MacBooks, plus a bunch of synths mixers pedals and other assorted gear.

He needs to do something worthy of being famous then. Does he have any real talents? :colbert:
No, he's just been sitting on his laurels for a while after winning back-to-back UK beatboxing championships.

It's OK to dislike his work, but it's unfathomable to think that what he's pioneering now as well as in the past, doesn't require any talent. But then again, it's just, like, your opinion, man.

The guy just presses buttons and has different canned beats play. Man that gig must be the easiest money made.
