Anyone catch Nine Inch Nails this tour?

Stellar, stellar shows. I caught Cleveland @ the Q, with the full stage show. Then @ the Seagate Center in Toledo (5k capacity, couldn't fit the stage show in the venue). Both shows were insane. Catching those 2 shows was a great mix of non-personal psychedelia, and personal in your face ass kicking.

In short, see a NIN show this tour. Doubtful you'll regret it.

Legal torrent of the Toledo show found below

FUCK why'd you have to post this?

I just changed my mind about going last night and now I might have to go!

My NIN DVD comes in the mail tomorrow, so that will be a heavy deciding factor.

Too add to that urge...here's the setlist from Toledo

999,999
1,000,000
Letting You
Discipline
March of the Pigs
Head Down
The Frail
Closer
Gave Up

Me I'm Not
The Great Destroyer
Pinion/Wish
Terrible Lie
Survivalism
Ghosts 8
Only
The Hand That Feeds
Head Like a Hole

Echoplex
Meet Your Master
God Given
Hurt

Pretty good example of what you'll get this tour. Except Meet Your Master, Toledo was the 2nd time ever played for that tune.

The stage show is literally insane. I felt like I was on LSD, but honestly only smoked a joint or two. Words, and even images can't convey the incredible stage show. Must be seen in person.

I do not plan on it. IMHO NIN has sucked the past few years.

Heartily disagree.

I thought Year Zero was a masterpiece. The Slip was pretty goddamn good as well for a free release/download.

To each his own however. 🙂

Well, when you grew up on "Pretty Hate Machine"...you miss the sound 😉

"Grew up"...sheesh i was like 16-17 lheheheh

If you mean beside you in time, you'll cry if you don't go after watching it. Fuckin phenomenal.

I'm a 27yr old Clevelander. It's safe to say I basically grew up on their music 😉 Broken was what got me into NIN. I think I was 13-ish?

I hate to agree, but Trent's music has gone downhill. He simply will never make a classic like Downward Spiral or even The Fragile again.

Don't get me wrong, his music today is still better than 90% of what it was, but a lot of his current songs just sound the same and redundant.

Tickets for his show in Charlottesville, VA go on sale next Friday. Thanks for the heads up, now I really can't wait to check them out live.

God I can't wait. Presale tickets for Oracle Arena on 9/5. I'll try to sneak in my gf's camera and get some video for you guys.

ns1... just fuckin go.

I still to this day nearly cry when I think about the DJ Shadow/Massive Attack show I missed at the Greek Theatre at UC Berkeley a couple years back.

I remember being in the pit at the Cleveland Agora for a Front 242 show and Trent was slamming with everyone else...good times

I saw them at the Pemberton Music fest the opening show for their tour. It blew my mind, I'd never seen or listened to them before.

Still waiting for the Halloween show in Nashville to show back up on the tour listing. It was there, then they took it down and they said 'It will be back, we just need to work out some details.' Bah!

I'm actually watching "beside you in time" as I type this. it is pretty much confirmed that I am going

"meals & entertainment" expense hehehehe

I saw that live man. NINs ability to set up a stage is amazing.
