Anyone cap thier TEETH? How much did it cost?

About 12 years ago... I think it was around $750 CAD for 1 and a small one.... Insurance covered about 90% of it. Although I could be mistaken... it was a while ago and I was only 11 or so.
 
Yea i had insurance pay about 80% of mine... Dont remember how much though 😀

That sounds like some good insurance. You don't remember the name by chance? Mine says they'll only pay if Medically necessary which basically means after a root canal to them or your tooth is broken in half. So I'm paying outta pocket🙁

Sunlife I think... My dad is a school teacher in Canada, excellent dental benefits. Also.. I was a 1/4 mm away from losing one tooth without the cap, the nerve was showing, that could have added to the insurance policy??
 
is a cap the same as a crown? I need to get one of them. I had a cavity last year, and my sh*tty dentist put a filling in it, but the hole was too big and the filling crumbled, so he put a silver metal cover on it. I need to get the cover taken off, and have a crown put on.

I've got one huge dental bill coming up:
1 crown
4 wisdom teeth pulled
1 filling

Hopefully my new dental insurance will cover most of it, but I haven't gotten the new policy yet.
