Anyone bought canning jars at Walmart?

I looked around for nearly 30 minutes and couldn't find them. I asked several employees in grocery, kitchen, and home areas of the store. None of them knew.

Walmart has got to carry them since searching "Walmart canning jars" gets me websites of people talking about buying them from Walmart.

Anybody know where I would find them?

(I know this is a stupid thread, but I couldn't find them and none of the walmart employees knew).

Really!!?? They are in the kitchen ware section. I saw them there today, not seasonal.

I walked up and down every aisle of the kitchen ware section... twice. Didn't see anything.

Maybe its because I'm in Texas and in a decently large city. I imagine not many people here have things to can.

You're shopping on the wrong side of town. Try the stores in the Mexican communities.

I saw their canning jars in the clearance section of season stuff, but I didn't look any closer since I didn't need/want them. This was a couple months ago, lol

Do you realize that you're looking for boxes of them, and not individual mason jars? They're generally sold by the dozen.

if youre in austin, i've bought canning jars several times at the I35&290 walmart, HEB stores etc. They are called mason jars, they come in 12. They are usually around $6-10 for the dozen. I would try HEB first, they have a better variety.
