Anyone bought a round the world ticket?

I'm hoping to do quite a bit of travel over the next 6 - 12 months. Has anyone had any experiences with these 'round the world' tickets? Places like www.roundtheworldflights.com, and others offer decent rates on customizable routes. Just looking for reco's / experiences.
