I was at this kids place where I heard really good old school beats with new school raps.
I do not know who the DJ is but the songs are like the old original Nas,Jay-z beats that they didnt release on albums that this certain DJ remixes and amps up.
yeah nas back in teh day had some good beats, way back in the day

well the DJ spins a lot of old school Nas I know that. It is Nas we've never heard on any of his debut albums or anything. These are tracks they recorded but never released if that helps.

I was wondering if you guys could shoot out any names of DJ's who do this sort of thing. Its not one of the usual Green Lantern or any of those normal remixers, he had a name that stood out a bit but i have terrible memory Dj something ? i think it started with s? not sure

If anyone can help, it would be much appreciated.
i love the internet.

There are about a million DJs that spin old school Hip Hop. I could name 20-30 right now, and perhaps never hit the one your talking about.

DJ Rectangle and DJ Triangle both spin a lot of underground Hip Hop, with some Old school and are much more well known then the stuff they play.
